Configurable ICT Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5
EA #005 ICT v1.05 implements six selectable mechanical models on closed signal candles with market execution, explicit session filters and configurable risk and exits.
EA005 ICT v1.05 for MetaTrader 5. Includes the author-supplied EX5, example GOLD M15 preset and English documentation. Review the historical example, configure your own settings and validate them in Tester and on demo.
Six entry models
- Sweep → MSS → FVG: BUY raids at least one tick below selected liquidity and closes back above it. A later displaced close breaks the stored opposite confirmed swing. A qualifying FVG follows. Default entry requires a later directional retest; immediate mode may enter at FVG recognition. SELL mirrors the sequence.
- Sweep → MSS → OTE + FVG: model 0 plus a fixed OTE 61.8–79% impulse retracement. FVG and OTE must intersect by at least one tick. Retest overlaps the shared zone and closes beyond its midpoint. Always retest.
- MSS/BOS → FVG: fresh displaced close beyond a confirmed swing, with the previous close not already beyond it. No mandatory sweep. Then a qualifying FVG and selected immediate/retest confirmation.
- Judas → CISD: 03:00–05:00 New York raids the completed Asia range; 07:00–10:00 raids London. A later displaced close passes the open of the first candle in the opposite-color run leading into the raid. An available structural swing is also required. Immediate mode can enter at CISD; retest mode waits for FVG and retest.
- Silver Bullet: sweep, later MSS, FVG and later retest within the same fixed NY hour: 03:00–04:00, 10:00–11:00 or 14:00–15:00. Retest mandatory; ordinary session and entry-mode inputs do not override it.
- Inverse FVG: first displaced close through an older opposite FVG, then a later directional retest. Prior closes must not have broken it. No separate sweep/MSS. A wick past the far zone edge invalidates the setup.
Confirmation and execution
Swings require InpSwingStrength closed candles on each side. Displacement requires a directional body at least InpDisplacementATR times mean True Range of 14 earlier candles and body/range at least 60%. A three-closed-candle FVG must be at least two ticks wide and its middle candle displaced. Retest requires overlap, directional body and close beyond the zone midpoint. Orders are submitted at current Ask/Bid; no guaranteed gap-edge fill. Invalidated/expired setups are discarded. A ready signal is consumed after its order attempt, even if rejected.
Sessions and filters
Ordinary windows are 02:00–05:00 London and 07:00–10:00 NY, in New York local time. BOTH allows both; custom windows support overnight operation. Session OFF retains weekend exclusion. Judas uses Asia 18:00–03:00 and London 03:00–07:00 reference ranges and its own entry windows. Silver Bullet also keeps its own windows.
AUTO clock needs historical Forex H1 weekly boundaries and may require EURUSD for a non-Forex symbol. Missing valid clock history blocks signals. With AUTO OFF, set broker winter UTC offset and EU/US/fixed DST rule. D1 midpoint bias compares the last closed broker daily close with its range midpoint. H4 structure or D1/H4 agreement are alternatives; bias freezes at window start. Optional context requires contact with available unfilled H4 FVG or accepts a prior-day extreme sweep. Direction, spread/ATR, volume, margin and broker stop rules also apply.
SL, TP and management
SL choices: setup extreme, signal candle, confirmed swing on selected timeframe, previous-day floor pivot or NONE. Buffer is the greater of one tick and iATR(14) × InpSLBufferATR; broker distances and tick rounding are applied before sizing.
SL_NONE submits no protective stop. Its reference distance serves sizing/statistics only; BE/trailing do not create an actual stop in this mode.
TP choices: liquidity, R multiple, ATR, next D1 pivot, nearest SR/pivot, opposite active-signal MSS, opposite H4 MSS or NONE. Liquidity/pivot modes enforce minimum R; unavailable targets reject entries. Market exits need the terminal running.
Optional break-even locks selected R after its trigger. Swing trailing uses confirmed pivots and only tightens SL. One partial-close attempt closes 50% if volume rules allow. Pyramiding requires hedging and new independent setups; ONLY_IF_ALL_PROFIT checks earlier same-direction positions. All these options are OFF in source defaults. Symbol and magic scope management. NY-day caps block new entries rather than closing everything.
Defaults and supplied preset
Source defaults: model 0, M5, swing 2, displacement 0.8, lifetime 12, retest, swing liquidity, D1 midpoint bias, context OFF, BOTH sessions, 0.50% equity risk, setup-extreme SL, 0.10 ATR buffer, 2R, magic 500501. Changing chart timeframe alone does not change InpSignalTF.
Supplied GOLD M15 SET: model 0, M15, swing 2, displacement 1.0, lifetime 8, immediate entry, previous-day liquidity, bias OFF, H4 FVG OR day-sweep context, ordinary session OFF, 3% risk, H2 swing SL, 2.5R, ONLY_IF_ALL_PROFIT pyramiding. BE/trailing/partial OFF. It is a historical research configuration, not a live recommendation.
Actual chart evidence
All supplied GOLD.pro M15 Tester examples show model 0. SELL screen: 9 September 2025 17:30 server time, entry 3640.14, SL 3660.59, TP 3589.01, 0.11 lot. BUY ticket 27: 29 May 2025 12:45, entry 3297.39, SL 3245.08, TP 3428.17, 0.036 lot. Both positions remain open at capture; planned geometry is approximately 2.50R before costs, not realized profit. EXIT 0.048 belongs to another position. No historical executions are claimed for models 1–5.

The original UTF-16LE HTML was decoded and every Deals-row balance reconciled exactly. There are 96 trade deals plus the initial deposit. Deal profit totals $5,693.82; swap totals -$165.48; commission is $0.00; net result is $5,528.34. The report does not specify a separate fixed spread assumption. Execution prices embed historical bid/ask effects; zero commission is an assumption of this example and may not match your broker.
The original balance image and report are provided; the product’s modern balance chart is imported from the original HTML. Any imported curve must use the exact Deals-table balance values without smoothing. A balance curve does not represent floating equity; the larger equity drawdown above matters.
Actual screenshot outcomes, verified in the report: SELL entry 3640.14 on 9 September 2025 closed at 3660.65 on 15 September at SL: -$225.61 price profit plus $5.80 swap = -$219.81 net. BUY ticket 27 entry 3297.39 on 29 May closed at 3428.29 on 13 June at TP: $471.24 price profit minus $34.48 swap = $436.76 net. Times are report/server times. These two outcomes are historical examples, not promised results.

Installation and activation
- After purchase, download the protected customer ZIP through your order or My Account.
- Copy EX5 into MT5 File → Open Data Folder → MQL5/Experts; refresh Navigator. Customers do not compile or receive MQ5.
- Load SET; review signal TF, risk, stops, magic, broker symbol and clock.
- For demo/live, enter your legitimate EA005 key and allow https://ea-lab.dev in Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → WebRequest. Enable Algo Trading and verify LICENSE ACTIVE.
- Validate in Tester and on demo. Check Experts/Journal for clock, spread, session, margin or license rejection.
Tester/optimization bypass online licensing. Each purchased EA has its own license key with two MT5 account-login/server activations. Licensing blocks new entries while owned-position management continues.
Research and optimization
Test models separately. Small source grid: swing 2/3/4, displacement 0.6/0.8/1.0/1.2, lifetime 8/12/16, RR 1.5/2/2.5/3 where applicable: 144 combinations. Remove inactive parameters. EntryMode is inactive for models 1/4/5; ordinary sessions for Judas/Silver Bullet; liquidity for 2/3/5. Keep risk, clock and identity static. Use real ticks, realistic costs, untouched out-of-sample data and nearby parameter checks.
v1.05 and risk
EA005 identity, English UI, EA004 chart palette, CLEAN panel, product license and scoped persistent state. Strategy/MM retention from v1.04 is documented; no independent baseline rerun was performed. Trading can cause loss; gaps, costs and slippage can exceed nominal stop risk. This mechanical adaptation does not implement the full discretionary ICT methodology.
