From trendlines to Renko
The robot builds fixed Renko bricks internally from Bid ticks: one box for continuation and two boxes for reversal. It connects confirmed pivots into rising support and falling resistance, then checks spacing, age, slope, touches and correction quality. The design artwork is conceptual; the execution screenshots and balance data below come from the supplied test.
Bounce setup
BUY: after a red brick touches qualified rising support, the first green reversal brick may trigger an entry. SELL mirrors this at falling resistance. The SMA filter, when enabled, must agree.
Breakout setup
BUY: the first green brick clears qualified falling resistance by the configured tolerance, with the previous close inside. SELL mirrors this below rising support. Overshoot limits reject late entries. With both entry modes enabled, bounce has priority.
How the position is managed
- Size the position from balance risk and estimated stop distance, subject to volume and margin limits.
- Place the initial stop from the signal Renko close. A setting of 2 means a distance of 3 boxes; with a box of 10, this is 30 price units.
- Attempt one approximately 50% partial exit after the configured favourable move. The test preset uses 6 boxes, or 60 price units. Minimum lot size can prevent a partial exit.
- Tighten the remaining stop on favourable closed Renko bricks. A trailing setting of 2 also uses a 3-box offset. An SMA crossing does not close the position.
Trading hours use broker server time and limit new entries only. Existing positions continue to be managed outside the entry window.

Before using EA008
- Use a demo account first. Spread, slippage, broker symbol settings and Renko warm-up change execution.
- Only completed Renko bricks trigger signals. The 110/260 SMA preset needs sufficient new bricks after attachment; no historical Renko preload is performed.
- Keep MT5 or the VPS running. Restarting or reattaching resets internal Renko and management state; attaching mid-position can affect partial-exit handling.
- A broker-side stop can execute between Renko closes. Stop-loss execution is not a guaranteed price.
- The supplied v1.38 EX5 has not been freshly recompiled or independently tested in this publication session.
