Description
Renko divergence, with configurable confirmation
EA #001 is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor for researching and automating regular Stochastic divergence on an internal Fixed Box Renko structure. The supplied manual describes tick-by-tick Renko construction with a two-box reversal, five entry triggers, two exit modes and a physical swing-based stop-loss.
Five entry modes
- Micro CHOCH — confirmation through a local structure break.
- Fractal Trendline Break — confirmation through a Renko fractal trendline break.
- First of Both — the first valid CHOCH or trendline trigger.
- Liquidity Sweep — a wick breach and reclaim around the second divergence pivot.
- Level Confirm — a defended pivot area followed by two or three aligned bricks.
Risk and exits
Choose a Pure Renko exit after consecutive opposite bricks or a fixed risk/reward target. The documented money management supports percentage-of-balance risk or a fixed lot. Optional Renko SMA and broker-server trading-hour filters control new entries.
Example US100 historical test
Supplied MT5 Strategy Tester report: US100.pro, OANDA TMS Brokers, M5 host chart, 1 October 2025 to 1 October 2026, USD 5,000 starting deposit, 1:100 leverage, 3% risk setting and 100% real ticks.
| Net profit | USD 11,243.74 |
|---|---|
| Profit factor | 1.41 |
| Total trades | 275 |
| Win rate | 37.82% |
| Expected payoff | USD 40.89 per trade |
| Maximum relative equity drawdown | 41.23% (USD 2,651.04) |
| Maximum monetary equity drawdown | USD 3,276.55 (28.49% at that episode) |
| Maximum relative balance drawdown | 38.17% |
| Maximum consecutive losing trades | 19 |
The largest percentage drawdown and the largest monetary drawdown occurred in different episodes. This is a one-year historical test, not a two-year validation or a verified live record. The 3% risk setting is a test configuration, not a live-trading recommendation. Spread and execution assumptions require further verification; the supplied deal ledger records zero commission on all trade deals. This is not a commission assumption for other brokers.
Download package and license
The supplied materials contain a user manual, a US100 preset, a tester report and screenshots. A compiled file named EA_Renko_001_Divergence_EALAB_v1_41.ex5 has been supplied; its runtime behavior has not yet been verified in MT5. After successful payment, download the complete ZIP package and find your license key in the order details and order email.
The license service supports up to two MT5 account/server combinations. Add https://ea-lab.dev to the MetaTrader WebRequest allowed URLs and enter your key in InpLicenseKey. The preset header refers to v1.40 while the report identifies v1.41; compatibility must be checked before release.
Your configuration, your testing
Adapt Renko box size to the instrument and broker contract specifications. Test on unseen periods and on demo before any live use. Backtested results do not guarantee future performance, and trading may lead to loss of some or all capital.
